We install telephone extensions that are specifically for use with ADSL Broadband enabled telephone lines. Our extensions can be customised to be telephone or computer specific. A double socket extension can also be provided that provides one built-in filterecd (microfilter) telephone socket and one computer (DSL) socket.

ADSL Broadband is becoming ubiquitous in both businesses and homes. A requirement of ADSL Broadband is the utilisation of microfilters on every telephone socket, including the Master Socket. This is true for all sockets, except when the socket is not in use. Microfilters are used to filter out the high-pitched frequency present on the telephone line when ADSL is activated. This ensures that the telephone can continue to be used for voice telephone calls.

Microfilters tend to dangle from telephone sockets and can be unsightly and prone to accidental damage. They are often the weakest part of the telephone network through the addition of another 'break' in the connection. This fact, coupled with basic microfilter quality can result poor connectivity to the Internet.

This problem can be overcome by using superior quality microfilters. However, you still need one for each extension and they stil suffer from the problems mentioned above. Microfilters are still relatively expensive at a cost of approximately £15.00 each.

We offer a solution to external microfilters - internal telephone socket microfilters. These can be installed whilst installing a new telephone extension or as a replacement to an existing socket. There are a variety of microfilter sockets available, which include Master NTE5, extension, and professional hardwire alarm blanked sockets. Blanked sockets can eliminate the need for an additional telephone line.

These new telephone sockets surpass external ADSL microfilter standards and help to solve Internet connectivity issues. Installation and supply of a new microfilter telephone extension begins at £35.99 for a single extension. Additional extensions are £9.99 each. Replacement Master Sockets are charged at £29.99 and Extension Sockets at £9.99 each.
